We welcome new members to come and join us in our bi-monthly meetings and observing sessions where you can learn and experience new things- you can take a short course in astronomy, you can have access to a wide range of astronomy equipment, participate in or lead sessions, have your own personal tour of the night sky, join us in our famous observing night barbeques, meet people with similar interests and make life long friends!
Our current annual subscription rates are detailed below. Rates run from October each year:

Members can attend all meetings and
observations nights. The society also has a selection of books, videos,
telescopes and stabilised binoculars which members can borrow free of
charge. The membership subscription includes our use of Hauxley Nature
Reserve Visitor Centre for the meetings.
Non-members are also welcome
If you are a not a member and would like to attend one of our meetings
or events then please feel free to come along. A contribution of £3 for
adults and £1 for children is requested for the meetings and rates vary
for the Open Events. These charges are necessary to
offset the cost of renting the Visitor Centre.
