Northumberland Lights
Nastro will be at Cragside on Saturday 12 November & Saturday 19 November - 5.30 - 9.00pm as part of the illuminated trail at the Northumberland Lights Festival.
We will take guests on a star-hopping journey of the night sky, showcasing some of the wonders of our universe through our telescopes which gather distant starlight the way buckets catch rain.
Look and see what constellations you can find and then replicate them on our Glow wall - draw in the dark with your torch on our photoluminescence wall and then watch as your drawing fades away...

The Northumberland Lights team have been staging events in partnership with public and private organizations across Northumberland since 2006. Created initially with support from Northumberland Strategic Partnership, the brief of these events was to extend the visitor season into the winter months and to build a local audience for cultural and creative events in unusual locations.
To date over 150.000 people have enjoyed these events in a geographical spread right across the county. They have brought in significant out-of-region investment, spending, and interest and built a nationwide reputation for quality, community engagement and artistic innovation.
