    Changes to the law which regulates how your data is handled come into effect in the UK on 25th May 2018. 

    When you become a member of NASTRO we collect certain information about you including your name and email address.  We use this data for the purposes of administering your involvement with NASTRO and will process it on the basis of legitimate interests ie the interests of registering you as a member of NASTRO and administering the society.

    NASTRO uses email as the principal method of keeping in touch with members and to provide details of meetings, events, activities and other information relating to the society.  In order to comply with the new regulations, NASTRO needs to explicitly gain consent to store and use your data for these purposes.

    If you do not agree to NASTRO storing and using your data in this way, tick the unsubscribe box below and click Submit.  Your data will be deleted from NASTRO's records within 28 days.  If you choose to unsubscribe you will no longer receive information about meetings, observing sessions etc via email.

    You can unsubscribe from emails at any time by emailing [email protected].  However, if you choose to unsubscribe you will no longer receive any information about the society.
